Imagine walking with a spiritual companion on a shared journey toward deeper intimacy with God

Like me, you may desire a deeper intimacy with God. Having a companion with the same longing to share your spiritual journey would multiply your joy and fulfillment.

The problem is that a “me and God” approach to the spiritual life has become so common among Christians that it feels normal. Yet it is often lonely and may lead to inconsistency in our pursuit of closeness with God.

Our cultural reality deepens the dilemma. We want spiritual depth, but our daily lives are filled with quick, superficial interactions that rarely allow for meaningful connection with one another or with God. The idea of making the time and commitment required for deeper relationships can even feel intimidating.

Yet embracing the discipline of spiritual companionship makes what we truly desire possible: a deeper intimacy with God and a meaningful connection with a fellow believer who shares the same longing.

In this online workshop, I will share three keys to spiritual growth found in the relationship between spiritual companions that can make a profound difference in your joy and satisfaction as you pursue growing intimacy with God.

You may be surprised to discover how the addition of another believer can transform the way you experience your life of faith.

The three keys to spiritual growth found in the relationship between spiritual companions
Key #1: Bringing blind spots into awareness

Together, you engage with one another in Trialogue- two spiritual companions and the ultimate Spiritual Companion – to see what you cannot see alone.

Key #2: Supporting one another in focus and faithfulness to stay the course

Together, you deal with discouragement, distractions, doubts, and disappointments that hinder spiritual growth.

Key #3: Releasing fears and hindrances to openness to God and each other

Together, you increase your ability to listen, disclose, give, and receive feedback, and you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and of one another.

By the end of this online workshop, you’ll understand why and how having a spiritual companion not only moves you toward a deeper intimacy with God but also opens you to more authentic relationships with other believers.
